About Jemi
Hello! My name is Jemi, and I have 7 years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and abilities. I have been playing piano for most of my life and I also play the flute. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing that love of music with others.
I enjoy creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and work towards their individual goals. Whether learning for enjoyment or preparing for RIAM examinations, I love helping students achieve their full potential and take pride in their progress.

My lessons are tailored to each student's age, ability, and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for RIAM examinations, or returning to piano after a break, lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and structured.
Students develop strong foundations in piano performance, music reading, rhythm, ear training, and music theory while building confidence and enjoyment in music. I believe learning an instrument should be both rewarding and enjoyable, so lessons combine technical development with pieces that students genuinely love to play.
With a lot of prior experience teaching people of all ages under 30, I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to progress at their own pace and reach their full musical potential.
