About Uzma
Hi, I'm Uzma! I honestly never thought I would be a tutor but once I started, I easily fell in love with it. It is very satisfactory to teach my young students and a humbling experience. Since I became a tutor, I have decided that I want to become a teacher! When I am not teaching, you can find me with my head stuck in a book or creating stories.

I started tutoring 2 years ago and have grown to love so much that I plan to take a PGCE course after I graduate.
I teach at primary level, from year 1 to year 6. A typical lesson will last for one hour but can span longer if needed.
My teaching method is that before I start teaching the student, I will learn of their strengths and weaknesses and go from there. I will plan lessons based off their weak points in English and then have regular tests so that I can see if they are retaining what they have learnt. At times I like to make the students' learning journey as fun as possible by including educational games into the lesson as well.
