About Jenny
Hi, I'm Jenny, a graduate of the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Music (Piano and Composition) and Masters of Primary Teaching (Arts Specialisation). I have over 10 years experience in music education, as well as 6 years experience as a classroom practitioner. I'm looking forward to meeting people who are looking to learn something new and challenging!

The most important thing about our lessons is making sure we are clear on what you or your child want to achieve. Are they struggling with reading fluently and could use some more practice? Is creative writing their passion, and they would like to spend more time on it? If their goal is one I can support, I will teach them.
As a teacher myself, I know that all of the support children need can be found in school, but I also know that sometimes one-on-one time can revolutionise a child's learning. Everyone learns slightly differently, and sometimes all it takes is expressing the learning in a different way for it to crystallise. That is my passion as a tutor for young students; that they can take ownership of their own understanding and learning for the rest of their lives.
I offer 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour, depending on the age and needs of the student in question.
Although I do have a leaning towards primary aged students, if you or your child are in secondary school and think I can help, I'm happy to talk about to see if we would be a good fit!
