About Paulo
I´m a senior programmer at a multinational company in Waterford.
I studied maths applied to statistics in school, but when I got into my professional career I immediately started programming since there is nothing in statistics now a day that does not need programming. This happened 20 years ago.
I did my degree in statistics and I have more than 20 courses on programming, but I'm specialized in SQL SERVER programming, and I have several certifications from Microsoft mostly related to business intelenge.
Since I was a student at the University, more than 20 years ago, I was teaching other colleagues and giving grinds to students at the secondary level in maths. I did this for approximately 7 years.
At the moment I also train other people in my work environment, this is one of my jobs at the company.

I have a passion for it teaching, and I love to see how my students evolve and can master the study at hand.
I enjoy being with a student and trying to see in what point he is and starting from there bringing him to the most higher level. Because all people can do it.
But most of us just lost the passion for trying along the way.
