About Angel

I'm a psychology teacher currently based in Thailand. I help GCSE and A-Level Psychology students understand complex topics, improve exam technique, and gain confidence.
I have a bachelors degree in Psychology (BSc) and 3+ years experience in teaching. I teach psychology across 3 syllabus' including GCSE (IGCSE & Edexcel) and A-Level (AQA).
Teaching is my both my vocation and passion. I strongly believe in delivering high-quality education that allows learning to be fun, engaging and meaningful. I aim to expand your knowledge, understanding and (hopefully) love for psychology!

About the lesson

Tutoring is for A-Level (Years 12 & 13/ College) and GCSE students, at any point in their course. Exam boards include: A-Level - AQA, For GCSE - Edexcel & IGCSE (Cambridge).

My teaching style is guided and engaging while strongly student-centred. Typical lesson length is 60 minutes. However, lessons can be extended upon prearrangement.

In our first session, we will establish strengths and areas for improvement, including which topics or skills require more attention.
Lessons will consist of varied activities such as discussion, thought exercises, presentation (including imagery & text-based), theory exploration, application and exam-style questions. Feedback will always be provided, and the option to receive worksheets as supporting practise is also available.

Together, we can work on the areas you lack confidence in to bump you up to those higher bands!

Deadly! Angel is a fabulous tutor, she’s extremely patient and provides excellent support in all classes, always explaining well and ensuring everything has been understood. My daughter is over the moon as she can finally understand and enjoy learning more about Psychology thanks to Angels tutoring. I can’t recommend Angel enough, she’s brilliant!

Deadly! Not sure of specific strengths yet, but Eleanor was very impressed by how she engaged really well and developed a strong rapport very quickly, whilst also talking about how she'll adapt the lessons to suit Eleanor's learning style.
