About Orquidea
I am a UK qualified and registered teacher based in West London with several years' of experience working with Year 2 aged children, including as a lead teacher in the 7+ process. I prioritise children's well-being whilst developing their resilience and confidence, and I have successfully guided children and their families through the assessment period. Qualifications: * Postgraduate Certificate in Education - QTS Pass- University of the West of England - 2021 * English Language & Communication - 2:1BA(Hons) -Oxford Brookes University *DBS registered with up-to-date safeguarding training. Professional Qualifications: *TEFL, Level 3 *Counselling Skills, Level 2 *Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, Level 2 *Emergency First Aid at Work - 3yr Certification (exp. 2027)

*I am an experienced UK-qualified teacher with a strong background in teaching Year 2 children, including those preparing for the 7+ entrance exams. *I have successfully supported students in gaining offers from some of London’s most prestigious independent schools, including St Paul’s, City of London, North London Collegiate, UCS, Habs, King’s Juniors, Highgate and South Hampstead High School. *I offer a free introductory meeting to understand your child's unique needs, and I outline how I can help strengthen key areas through bespoke tutoring. * Offer: English (reading/writing), maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, social and emotional coaching, handwriting, interview practice and past-paper exam practice. *Tutoring sessions are available at £70 per hour, or as a block of 10 sessions for £650. *Online and in-person (West/Central London only). *Fees are inclusive of all planning, assessment and marking costs.
