About Heather
I have two daughters, one of whom has the characteristics of dyslexia. Her difficulties in learning how to read are what led me to my path in education. I am currently a Senior Program Administrator in Curriculum and Instruction overseeing the K-12 literacy program in a medium-sized school district. I have recently accepted a position as an elementary principal and am excited to be working with students and teachers in an impactful way. I am a licensed reading teacher and literacy specialist with over 15 years of experience in education.

I will complete a CORE diagnostic assessment to determine what skills your student needs to work on most and then customize a plan for them. Programs could include Sound Partners, UFLI, Words Their Way, WRewards, Fluency work, or Comprehension strategies. I will also monitor student progress on a frequent basis.
