About Orest
I currently teach a secondary school in North London focusing on students with learning difficulties. My background includes an MRes in Biosciences from UCL with a distinction and a 1st class honours degree in BSc Biomedical Sciences. I have extensive academic and research experience within sciences and I also aced the national panhellenic exams in which I scored a 97.5% in June 2019. This also led to me receiving an academic excellence award when I finished my high school studies (A-Level Equivalent) in 2019. I have experience in tutoring students in study groups and clarifying concepts, which has led to them achieving higher marks in their exams. In the future, I am planning to start a PhD programme and pursue a career lecturing in academia. My passion for biology and teaching are excellent features for a tutor and crucial to inspire students into appreciating the wonders of the subject.

I aim to teach the essentials of biology to the student by accurately presenting content in a digestible manner. My lessons are focused on answering the student's questions and creating confidence in their knowledge by establishing an individual learning plan based on the student's strengths and weaknesses. I plan to use my knowledge and experience in the subject to guide students in secondary educations and help them achieve their goals.
