About Bethan
Does your child struggle to access school due to Literacy difficulties or Social, Emotional or Mental Health challenges? Help is available! I’m Bethan, a friendly and nurturing tutor who makes literacy easier and more fun. We’ll use fun strategies like phonics games and memory tricks to make tricky words stick. In our sessions, students will get lots of encouragement, clear steps, and tools to help them feel more confident with reading and writing. Everyone learns differently, and that’s okay—I love working with families to find what works best for your child, so they can feel proud of their progress and enjoy learning again. I’m a friendly and supportive literacy specialist with experience helping children with SEND develop confidence in reading, spelling, and writing. My lessons are fun, structured, and tailored to your child’s needs. I use simple, proven strategies such as phonics games, multi-sensory spelling activities, and guided reading to build understanding step by step. Every child learns differently, so I create a safe and encouraging space where they feel comfortable to try, learn, and succeed. My goal is to make literacy enjoyable while giving your child the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond!
