About Yulia
Hello, my name is Yulia, I am an experienced singer, songwriter, artist and voice teacher! I’ve recently moved to Los Angeles all the way from Russia to pursue music.
I graduated one of the most prestigious musical academies in Moscow (State Classical Academy named after Maimonides), I have years of experience teaching vocals and performing live. I supported major Russian artists (such as Alexandr Panayotov, B2 and L' One) as a background vocalist on tours, studio sessions, TV appearances. I performed multiple times at SoFar in New York, Washington DC and Boston. My song ‘’If It’s Over’’ was released by huge UK label Hed Kandi. You can also check my solo project ''Julaiah'', my music is available on all the streaming services.

My teaching methods come from a lot of experience, education, and personal research! The methods I use draw on a range of both contemporary and classical teaching concepts that aim to help you get the most out of your unique voice, as opposed to trying to produce any other. I try to guide my students towards an intuitive understanding of the subject material and their personality.
My main genres of interest are pop, r’n’b and soul.
I’m happy to work with students of all levels: from complete beginners to advanced singers who are already professional sounding, and want to increase their ability in range, runs, vibrato, and advanced songs. I would be glad to help you with developing your skills and achieving singing goals.

I can also give lessons in person at Pirate studio's (4713 W Jefferson Blvd), but this would cost additional 20 dollars, cause I will have to pay for it.
