About Sam

While my professional background is in law, my love for learning and teaching has led me to pursue tutoring as a way to share my knowledge and expertise with others. I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed, and I want to help my students reach their full potential by providing them with the support, guidance, and resources they need to achieve their goals. As a tutor, I take a personalized approach to learning, taking the time to understand each student's unique needs, interests, and learning style. In addition to my experience as a solicitor, I have also spent time volunteering as a mentor and tutor to young people in my community. This experience has taught me the importance of being approachable and caring as a tutor, and I strive to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all of my students. As an experienced solicitor and passionate tutor, I'm excited about the opportunity to help students achieve their academic and professional goals. I'm approachable, caring, and dedicated to helping my students succeed in their learning journeys.

About the lesson

I understand that every student has their own unique learning style, strengths, and areas of improvement. Therefore, my personalized approach to tutoring is focused on identifying each student's specific needs and designing a tailored program that caters to their learning style, pace, and interests.

In our first session, I will assess the student's level of understanding of the subject matter, their goals, and areas of difficulty. This assessment will serve as the foundation for the tutoring program and guide our work together. Based on this assessment, I will develop a personalised learning plan that addresses the student's needs and aligns with their learning goals.

In addition to the structured curriculum, I encourage open communication and collaboration with my students. I foster a safe and supportive learning environment where my students can ask questions, express their opinions, and challenge themselves to reach their full potential. I believe that this approach not only helps to build student's confidence and motivation but also fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

To ensure that my students achieve their desired learning outcomes, I regularly evaluate their progress and adjust the program as needed. I also provide constructive feedback and guidance on how to improve their study habits, time management, and other important skills.

Ultimately, my personalised approach to private tutoring is grounded in a deep understanding of each student's unique learning needs and goals. By creating a customized program that aligns with their strengths, interests, and pace, I strive to help my students achieve academic success and develop a love for learning that will serve them well throughout their lives.
