About Shane

Hola! I’m a friendly and dedicated college student with a genuine passion for Spanish language and culture. I’ve been studying Spanish for over seven years and spent a lot of time in Spain growing up, which helped me develop a real appreciation for the language. Alongside my studies, I’ve gained valuable work experience that’s strengthened my communication and organizational skills. I love helping others learn and build confidence in their abilities, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students can enjoy learning Spanish and make real progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are friendly, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on building confidence through conversation practice, grammar support, and interactive exercises. A typical lesson lasts one hour and includes speaking, listening, and written activities. I achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Spanish (2022) and currently hold a B1.1 CEFR level in Spanish. While I’m new to formal tutoring, I have experience helping classmates prepare for exams and improve their fluency. My lessons are ideal for beginners, Junior Cycle, or Leaving Cert students who want to strengthen their Spanish in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
