I bring a thoughtful, student-centered approach to every lesson, grounded in years of experience supporting diverse learners, including those with learning or emotional challenges. I’m confident in my ability to make complex historical topics clear, engaging, and relevant. About the lesson

My history lessons are designed to bring the past to life in a way that’s engaging, accessible, and relevant to today’s world. Whether you’re studying ancient civilizations, Canadian history, or global conflicts, I help students make clear connections, understand cause and effect, and think critically about historical events. I adapt each session to suit your learning style, pace, and goals—whether that’s improving essay writing, preparing for exams, or simply building confidence. With experience supporting diverse learners, I create a safe, respectful environment where questions are encouraged and growth is celebrated. Together, we’ll make history meaningful and manageable.

I think Kirsten is incredibly trustworthy and would make a great teacher. She explains things clearly and in a way that’s easy to understand, no matter how complex the topic. She’s also patient and encouraging, which makes you feel comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment.

What really stands out is how she adapts her teaching to your personal learning style. Thanks to her help, I’ve made real progress in writing, reading, speaking, and grammar. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone—she’s supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely wants you to succeed.
