About Jonah
After graduating with a thesis in literary theory and site-specific performance, I taught debate for two years in Shanghai before moving to San Francisco to start my first company. I love teaching and enjoy it as a hobby in my spare time.

I design my courses entirely around the needs and interests of my students. I strongly believe in self-directed learning with external structural support. What I find most rare in the applicants who apply to work for my company is the ability to independently seek out solutions to solve problems encountered on the job; paramount to education is not only learning the material, but learning how to approach novel issues with creativity and a willingness to try, fail, and try again.

David looks forward to tutor time with Jonah and is getting more independent. Now he will start his essays before his meeting time with Jonah just to show he can :)

Jonah has been helping Sascha with schoolwork and college applications for two years now. During this time the quality of her writing has improved greatly and I think shes even starting to enjoy it. Go Jonah! Thanks!
