About Machelle
I initially showed an interest in teaching in 1989 resulting in qualifying as a Primary/English Teacher. I teach students from all ages with a range of ability, who also come from varied social and cultural backgrounds. I currently teach across the board from Key Stage 1 to Further Education. There is no doubt I am committed to and enjoy teaching and learning as my experiences are invaluable. I have an excellent understanding of subject knowledge and the ability to deliver with enthusiasm, focusing on student centred learning and attaining success. I would like to think that I am a progressive thinker with the understanding of traditional subject knowledge firmly under my belt. I teach and learn from a student centred approach and encourage all students to be confidently, proactive in developing their knowledge and understanding and reaching personal potential, in order to reinforce pride in achievement and success.
