About Pamika
My qualifications and experience: - BA in Language and Culture (1st class honors), Chulalongkorn University, Thailand - MA in Southeast Asian Studies (honors with distinction), Leiden University, the Netherlands - Worked full-time as a teacher of Thai to foreigners (private and duo lessons) in a recognized language school in Bangkok - Worked in governmental and international organizations, delivering humanitarian services to people affected by conflicts. As a user of 4 languages, I know from firsthand experience the importance of repeated exposure and practice. That's what my class will focus on. I am particularly good with adult learners. I learned my 3rd and 4th languages as an adult myself. Building on what you know, I will introduce new words and concepts and guide you through them in engaging exercises and conversations, until they become second nature to you. Don't worry if you're an absolute beginner, I will get you conversational in a short period of time. :) A typical 60-min lesson looks like this: - Getting to know your level and interests/revision of past lessons - Introduction of new vocab and/or grammar points - Practice, with you at the center - Recap and feedback Let's make Thai learning fun and personalized to your goals!
