About Kate
I have QTS, a BA from Leeds University, a PGCE from Cambridge University, a DBS and am registered on the update service. I have taught in secondary schools, tutored and marked for exam boards since 2007. I enjoy being able to dispel the confusion that English Language and Literature teaching in schools can unwittingly create, thereby easing students' pressure over GCSEs.

My online lessons are for students taking GCSE English Language or Literature. I draw on my experience of teaching in secondary schools, private tutoring and marking GCSEs for UK exam boards. The charge for my one hour lessons includes follow-up advice, materials and guidance until the day of your exam. I can review your mock result and move forward from there. Or maybe you simply want one lesson to explain mark schemes, great, that's my thing, get in touch.
