About Jocelyn

你好！Hey, there! This is Jocelyn. I'm a Chinese teacher who is teaching Chinese in Thailand now. I like my job, and I like teaching Chinese to non-native speakers. Since I was a freshman in university, I taught Chinese to non-native speakers. At the beginning, they knew nothing about Chinese, but they talked to me freely in Chinese later on, I was amazed by them. If you would like to study with me, I hope, one day, you can also talk to me without any translation. Now, as a Chinese teacher in Thailand, I'm happy and satisfied. Especially when my students tell me that they love me and Chinese, which makes me feel that I have gotten more and more energy in doing this job. A few days ago, one of my students has gotten the champion in a Chinese speech , I'm so proud of her. I love Chinese, and I love teaching Chinese, too. I hope you would like to study with me and love my teaching methods, The more you learn the more you love Chinese, which I'm very sure!

About the lesson

For our first lesson, I will always ask you some basic questions in Chinese, these questions will help us get to know each other, and it could also help me to know about your Chinese pronunciation and your Chinese level.
Here is the pattern of my lesson.
Firstly, for beginners. We will start from Pinyin and pronunciation. We will have two hours for our Pinyin and pronunciation if you have never learned any Chinese before.
Secondly, for intermedia level, we will have a free talking and then we will have our text and grammar learning,
In additional, if you have been learning Chinese for a long time, we can talk about some complex topics, like, culture, technology, and any topics that you prefer.
I have materials for each level, No matter what you want to learn, for instance, conversational Chinese, business Chinese, or preparing for an exam. You can message me or tell me when we meet.
