About Cassie
My name is Cassie, and I am a 15-year-old competitive dancer based in Connecticut. I have been dancing since age 9 and competing since age 11, with training in Vaganova ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and Latin ballroom. I have received scholarships at Jump Dance Convention, NUVO Dance Convention, and 24 Seven Dance Convention, and have attended summer intensives at Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. I placed in the top three of my age division at the Youth America Grand Prix and earned first place at the Eastern United States Dancesport Championships. I’m excited to share my experience and help students improve while having fun and feeling confident.

My teaching style is positive and supportive so students can feel confident while learning the basics of dance. I break down moves step by step, start with a warm-up, practice technique and short combinations, and finish with a quick review to help them improve. Because I’m a competitive dancer, I explain things in a simple, relatable way that’s easy for beginners to understand. These lessons are great for beginner to intermediate dancers, especially younger students who want to build skills and have fun.
