**Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a theater director who genuinely enjoys helping people communicate more effectively.** I've been directing productions for several years and currently work as a CTO at a startup, so I understand both creative communication and professional presentation skills. I'm also learning Japanese myself, which keeps me connected to the challenges and rewards of language learning. **My Teaching Approach:** I use techniques from theater directing to help students speak more naturally and confidently. This isn't about perfection - it's about finding your authentic voice in English. I focus on practical conversation skills and real-world scenarios because that's what actually matters when you're using English in your daily life. **Professional Experience:** - Theater director with experience coaching actors in voice and diction - CTO role requiring regular presentations and team communication - Native English speaker from the United States - Currently studying Japanese as a second language **Why I Teach:** I started teaching because I noticed how many talented people hold themselves back due to language barriers.
