About Jordan
About me: I am a researcher and educator with a wide range of teaching and tutoring experience. As a tutor, I typically work with high school-grad school students in writing, literature, art history, and essay editing. However, I have also tutored students grades K-8 in English/Grammar, German, Global Geography, and arts. As for my teaching methodologies, I strive to adapt my strategies to students' individual learning styles and needs.
Credentials: I hold an MA in Visual Studies (with a minor focus in German Language and Literature) from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from Auburn University. I have been operating as an independent tutor since 2014. Additionally, I have taught art history and introduction to film courses at the collegiate level and K-12 group courses through Varsity Tutors.
