About Tyler

I have played baseball/softball for a little under 30 years. I currently still play men's recreational softball at Victory Lane Sports Park. I played for Northern Arizona University for a few years while I studied and received my Bachelor's Degree of Psychological Sciences and Business Administration. I am able and willing to teach beginners-intermediate skill levels, whether the student is starting from square one or trying to hone in on specific aspects of their game. We will break down each facet of the game and prioritize the areas needing the most attention to become the best overall player. I will also help the athletes develop as an individual through trust and communication while still training the mental and physical demand from sports.

About the lesson

Baseball lessons offered by Tyler are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Glendale. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

Deadly! My son has been working with Coach Phillips for a few months now. To start, my son had zero baseball experience or skills, so they have worked primarily on fundamentals. Thanks to Coach, my son made his Freshman HS baseball team and is one of the top hitters on the squad and he is quickly improving in other areas of his game.

Coach Phillips has been great to work with and has been patient in his teaching, while setting high expectations. Highly recommended!
