About Chad

DevelopMental Baseball exists to guide you to the next level of your career by helping you become your own best coach.

Chad Rhoades is an elite-level pitching consultant who has cultivated a unique philosophy. He simplifies focus to what matters the most to players, results. Results are born out of competition and therein lies each individuals development plan. His philosophy has been successfully applied to Major League Players and to amateurs looking to get into the college ranks.

Chad earned his Bachelors Degree in Sports Ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University, after earning All American Awards Chad chose free agency with the Boston Red Sox. He went onto play professionally for five years within the Boston Red Sox Organization and multiple seasons within the Independent Baseball ranks. More recently, he was the youngest Rehab Pitching Coordinator with the Miami Marlins Organization at age 33. He also has 6 seasons on the field as a Minor League Pitching Coach along with one Coach of the Year Award and 18+ years experience with Private Pitching Lessons.

Making of the man, the competitor and baseball player.

It was a natural progression of my life and time in baseball, all the lessons I have learned about being a baseball player and a person who has got to travel and meet all types of interesting people.

I have coached at the professional level for the last 9 years, MLB pitchers down to 16 year old Dominican Rookies. I have 15 years experience in professional baseball and have coached at the college and high school level.

About the lesson

An initial assessment needs to be made of the athletes current level of proficiency and throwing ability. After assessed, each individual will be given a player development plan that will now lead his progress.

39 year old MLBer to 9 year old first year pitcher. I prefer to work with professionals and men, but love to influence and work with those in high school on their way to college or college on their way to wanted to become a pro.

I can teach you how to throw harder, have better command, but I want you to walk away learning how to pitch.
