About Luke

10+ years playing against the highest-end competition in Southern California from Mater Dei, Chino Hills, etc.

I enjoy seeing students improve fundamentally, improving their game, and most importantly helping them achieve their goals through basketball.

I got started teaching after I decided to stop playing competitively. After 3 years of helping in training camps, I decided to give back to the community while also trying to help pay for my schooling.

10 years of basketball experience with 4 of those years playing against 3 of the California state championship schools.

Assessing their strengths and weaknesses. Most basketball players focus on their strengths too often and do not focus on what skills they lack. Determining students' skills and concentrating on improving them will then help their overall game but most importantly will also allow them to play to their strengths more in games.

I have worked with ages of 6-7 years old all the way to high schoolers.

Always get a teacher who cares for your progress and wants you to improve. In my experience, I have had too many coaches who looked at me as an income payment rather than a student. Make sure the coach wants to teach you and is actively coaching you rather than the coaches who tell you to do a drill and isn't paying attention.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Assess your game before you talk to them. Figure out your strengths and weaknesses and ask them how they can improve those areas of your game.
