About Drew

I grew up in a basketball home. My father coached basketball for 30+ at the high school level. I too have played or coached for the past 30+ years. Specifically, for the past 8 years, I have been coaching and developing a group of players now entering high school as freshmen. Of the 5 entering high school, 3 have already been invited this summer (2020) to practice at the JV/Varsity level. I have an extensive background in learning and I have worked in training and development for the past 20+ years in the corporate world. My passion for basketball is extremely high and my approach to the game is deliberate and focused on creating strong players with an aggressive North/South mentality of attacking the rim.

Coaching and helping others reach and/ or meet their potential is a very satisfying experience. Giving back to the game too is an incredible motivation that I feel. Today's basketball landscape is filled with many pitfalls and my methods and approaches are based on years of experience as a player and coach. I am still a student of the game today.

With each new player, I want to first understand their goals and needs as a player.  At that point, I can establish what stage the player is at.  At this point, I can tailor a series of workouts and a curriculum to address the player's needs.  I am willing to work with each player to custom create a successful program.
