About Ryan

Hello! My name is Coach Ryan Ang from Ang1 Trainings! I am a ball handling specialist but my trainings also includes shooting enhancement drills, real game scenarios, CONDITIONING, and more!

Unlike other basketball trainers, I am a hands-on trainer; in other words, I do the drills with YOU: I will guard, play offense, and run with you! Are you ready for this?

I have also been featured on many news media platforms such as Entrepreneur, ABC7 New York, People Magazine, People TV, USA Today, and more!

It has always been my passion to help athletes improve on their skills and ultimately become the best athlete they can be! I love the progress athletes make when training with me because their improvement is my satisfaction!!!

I have trained over 300 athletes and over 10 basketball teams both in the United States and in foreign countries such as Japan, Brazil, Australia! 

I have over 8 years of basketball experience including 2 years as a Division 1 basketball manager for FDU, 3 years of being a basketball trainer, and 3 years of high school basketball. 

I am also certified in CPR / BLS, psychological first aid, and interpersonal and social rhythm therapy.

Our very first training session is called "Evaluation Day." Evaluation Day is when I can assess the athlete's strengths and weaknesses. From there, my training sessions will adapt to the athletes needs and target their weaknesses as well as maintaining their strengths. 



I have worked with all different types of students with all different types of skill levels. I have trained athletes as young as 8 years old to athletes in high school and in college.

Details

Here is the different types of training sessions as well as my rates for each of those: 

2. Private 1-on-1 INDOOR training session ($65) 

- Takes place in my gym located in Lodi, NJ or at a gym located in Paramus or Washington Township. 

3. HOME SERVICE training session ($50) 

- I travel to you (depending on the distance) and train your athlete in your own home.
