About Typhrodisia

Typhrodisia's Bellydance and Beyond studio has been open for 6 years and is a very unique studio. 95% of our classes are bellydance related.

Seeing women build confidence and finally have body acceptance as well as them finding muscles they never knew they had.

After 10 years of dancing , I started teaching private lesson, and group lesson, until I out grew my home studio and then I moved the studio to

I have been bellydancing since 1999. I have my own bellydance troupe , Sestralun. I am the director and owner of the Maryland Bellydance Convention in Baltimore( TBA) and I have had my bellydance studio since 2012. I have studied with well know instructors , from many different styles of bellydance.

About the lesson

New students can go to my class page and see every class we have, as well as start date and start time. There is a paypal button next to each class, pay via paypal and you are registered. It is that simple!

I have worked with students from the age on 2-80 years old. I have a childrens class( mommy and me) , but most of the classes are for adults.

Check the dancer out and see how long she has been dancing. Has she only taught out of her home or does she have their own studio?

I host hafla's everyother month. A hafla is a bellydance party. The students have a choice to perform the dance they learned in their class , but it is not mandatory. Each hafla has a different them and have traditional - non tradition bellydance performances, vendors and food for a small entrance fee.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If they have never taken a bellydance class, then they should start from the beginning and work their way up. Don't just jump into thinking you will learn in one session. Bellydance has a lot of muscle control, muscles you have never used before. Women take my classes for many reason. No two women are alike, accept who you are and enjoy the class.

Details

The classes are by sessions and each class has a different price. The sessions run from 4-8 weeks.

We also offer private lessons and your own group lesson/party for birthdays, girls night out , bachelorette and bridal showers.

1 hour private lesson $65.00 per person

Group party for up to 10 students- $250.00 per group, $25. for each additional student.
