About Barry

I am an Adjunct Lecturer in American Government and Political Science with the City University of New York. Since 2017 I have taught over 300 students basic principles of government, the US Constitution, law, philosophy, justice, mediating institution, foreign and domestic policy, as well as the implementation of all o the above. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Additionally, I also am the Director of Operations and Compliance at the Midwood Development Corporation, a 501 ( c ) 3 non profit organization which provides social service and human service to many marginalized communities in Brooklyn - the elderly, the new Americans, the Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled, middle class and lower income families, and those who have fallen through the cracks. So I do not just seek to learn about government; I seek for it to be personalized and real as well.

Deadly! Barry took the time to talk to my son and learn about his interests. He even put time in to check out some of the music my son suggested. While this doesn't have to do with history it speaks to the kind of tutor Barry is. My son appreciated his checking it out. Barry talks honestly about progress and seems to really help my son with expanding his understanding of US History. We are happy with Barry and will continue with him.
