About Rebekah
I love dance. I have been dancing since I was four years old. It is something that genuinely brings me joy to dance myself and also to teach others. I have taught Tap N Tumble classes, as well as beginners ballet from ages 4-6. I have also taught clogging classes to ages 6-13. I have been teaching dance for 3 years. I won the Onstage Personality Award at my dance company at 9 years old. I later won the Pedal to the Medal award at 11 years of age.
I also have taught Musical Munchkins classes for 2 years to daycares where I instructed on beginner songs and rhymes with tumbling included for ages 4-7.
I enjoy seeing my students succeed, so I am able to break things down step by step.
I was a Cheerleader in highschool, then on the dance team in college and I was on a semi-professinal dance team when I was 21 years of age. I also choreographed dances for my college dance team. I have experience choreographing hip hop and contemporary dance team routines.
I always have a student mentality, so if you would like to discuss me choreographing a certain type of dance, let me give it a go. I am happy to provide clips of what I can offer to you in advance before you pay for a class if needed.

I like to start with the basics if they are a new student. We learn simple moves or steps to be able to build upon. If the student is more advanced, then I will ask them what their experience is and guage their level and continue to build on what they already know. I am flexible. I am also up to following a plan from a parent in individual classes as to what their expectations are for their child to learn.
