About Rayan

To whom it may concern,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Rayan Dabbagh, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share why working with me would be a valuable asset to your team and projects.

With a background in Computer Engineering and a strong passion for both Software Engineering and Data Science, I have had the privilege of working with diverse teams across next-generation startups and Fortune 500 companies. Graduating high school in the top 1% of my country and completing my Bachelor's degree at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in less than three years, I have proven my dedication and ability to excel in challenging academic environments.

Throughout my professional journey, I have acquired valuable skills in project management, team leadership, and effective communication. I approach every task with enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that exceed expectations. My experiences have enabled me to develop a keen eye for detail and an innovative mindset, consistently driving me to seek creative solutions to complex problems.

Allow me to highlight a few key achievements from my resume that demonstrate my capabilities:

At Minerva, the third fastest-growing app according to the Financial Times, I played a crucial role as a Quantitative Developer. I implemented a filtering mechanism using Python to select relevant financial news sources based on users' investment portfolios. Additionally, I pioneered a cutting-edge NLP algorithm for accurate sentiment analysis of financial news articles, achieving an exceptional 86% accuracy in predicting stock trends.

During my internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I developed a ticket classifier using Python and natural language processing (NLP) algorithms. This solution led to a significant drop in "Mean Time taken to resolve" and a spike in "First Call Resolution," ultimately enhancing customer support efficiency.

As a co-founder of Start-up STEAM, I have gained invaluable experience in entrepreneurship and product development. Our innovative "dating" app for sports connects individuals who are geographically close and interested in working out together, fostering a sense of community and active lifestyles.

In addition to my professional experiences, I have actively engaged in research and mentorship at Georgia Tech. As an undergraduate teacher assistant, I led lab sections, assisted students in various mathematics courses, and taught programming projects to hundreds of students. I have also been recognized as a three-time hackathon winner, showcasing my ability to collaborate effectively within a team and deliver innovative solutions.

With a strong foundation in computer engineering, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and additional skills in areas like blockchain, computer vision, and information security, I bring a diverse skill set that can contribute to a wide range of projects.

I am confident that my dedication, technical expertise, and proven track record make me an excellent fit for any software engineering role. I am excited about the opportunity to discuss further how I can contribute to your team's success.

Thank you for considering my qualifications. I look forward to the possibility of working together and discussing how I can support your goals.

Best regards,

Rayan Dabbagh
