About Robert
Just a student trying to make money during the coronavirus outbreak as I can no longer work. I love computer science and sharing that knowledge with others. The most satisfying thing in the world was when I gave the students I TA for a test and seeing them ace it! I have only been a TA for a year but already love it! I've won multiple awards in state computer science competitions.
I starting by being a TA for an introductory computer science course in 2019 and fell in love with teaching computer science to beginners.
I have been learning computer science and programming for 6 years and absolutely love it. I have competed in numerous computer science competitions and placed.

Well I would first get to know them and their hobbies to try and find out how to reach them the best. Once I know them I would introduce them to the topics at a pace I know they can work at.
Mostly teenagers ages 14-18.
Ask them to write fizz buzz in the language they will be teaching and make sure they know why things work or don't work instead of just telling you that it does.
There was this student who missed a week when the class was starting java. This week was vital as java is a relatively typing heavy language. So for the next couple classes I worked with him one on one to catch him up and when it came time to test he got a 105. It was the most gratifying thing I have experienced recently.
