About Glen
I have a B.S. and an M.S. incomputer science. I've taught college courses in Compilers, Java, Data Structures, and other topics. I have a number of years of industry experience in software eningeering and project management. I'm passionate about teaching and love to see my students succeed.
I've tutored many students, helping them complete late projects, prep for tests, and raise their grades in courses where they were struggling.
I've taught at both the University level academically and at professional level training companies. I know exactly what professors are looking for to evaluate students and can help a student excel in their classes.

With a new student, I'll discuss problem areas and upcoming homework projects and exams. We'll work on the most urgent issues first, whether it is overdue projects or impending tests, working through problems to ensure that a student can't just complete the project but truly understands the underlying concepts. From there we set goals to work on between tutoring sessions and use tutoring sessions to explain any concepts that were problematic during solo work and work through new concepts together.
