About Sean
Hi, I'm Sean! I recently got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly SLO. In university, my coursework included Calculus, Physics, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering courses. I have internship experience in software engineering and professional experience in computer security. I'm most familiar with Data Structures, Full Stack Development, Computer Security, Digital Electronics, and Computer Design, but I can answer questions about anything related to CS or EE!
My style of teaching is very much influenced by my style of learning. Whether it's a math formula or a data structure, I like to have students derive or implement it themselves and provide guidance when needed. In high school, I was part of a volunteer group that taught programming workshops for elementary and middle school students in a classroom setting. During my time as a volunteer, I found that I and many other students understand concepts way better when they find the answer themselves.
