About Barb

I am happy to arrange a FREE phone or on-line video consultation of about 30 minutes at a mutually convenient time. The purpose is to explore what is possible together. We will talk about what interests you about working with me. I'll also answer your quesitons about me and the process of health coaching. There is no pressure to do anything further if the chemistry does not feel right for you. :)

I help people believe in their unlimited potential to change their habits and to thrive. A Health Coach supports those who desire to change their diet and/or lifestyle in order to enhance their wellness.

Some times change can be hard. I help people accomplish the changes they want to make at their own pace and in a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental coaching environment. I know firsthand the huge improvement that changes to diet and lifestyle can make. I was able to reverse my sugar cravings plus symptoms of asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, pre-diabetes and strong histamine reactions such as sneezing, watery eyes and rashes through changes to my diet. It feels so good to feel good again! I am also a Cooking Instructor and teach cooking with foods that have the incredible power to nourish you and strengthen your immune system. I love to help others enjoy these foods by creating recipes and teaching cooking classes.

Although I have passed the requirements and am well qualified to coach, I have not yet received the full certification and therefore will be charging much less than the typical fee for health coaching services. I am currently certifying as an ADAPT- Functional Health Coach (A-CFHC) an intensive year long program accredited by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching.

As I said, the initial consultation is free to you. After that if you are interested, we can set up a 1 hour session to talk through your personal Wellness Vision, also at no charge. With that session, you will get a feel for how coaching works and whether it is right for you.

In case you are wondering about the cost, for a limited time after those 2 free sessions and if you decide that you are ready to move forward, the fee for coaching is only $20 per session. There are further discounts for multiple session packages. We will typically meet once a week for about 30 mintues. I have time slots available at various times and days of the week for your convenience.

Details

After the free initial consultation and a free wellness vision session, the cost is only $20 per session for a limited time until my full certification, with additional discounts for multiple sessions. Sessions are 30 - 45 minutes and can be once a week or every other week. There is no obligation to continue at any time.
