About Samantha
First and foremost, I am here and happy to help. I am a professional actress/singer/dancer/improviser based out of NYC. Something that I take pride in is really getting to know who you are and what your specific needs are so that these lessons can be as effective and efficient as possible. I teach with passion, empathy and years of professional knowledge and experience. My job is to help bring out your most authentic self in whatever field you are wanting to better yourself in.
I love that I get to work closely with people and develop honest and meaningful relationships with them.
I have a degree in musical theatre from AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York City. I have worked on and off Broadway, in Broadway National and international tours and in equity regional theatre houses. I have studied all fields of dance since age 3 including: Cecchetti Ballet, tap, jazz, theatre jazz, contemporary, lyrical, pointe and hip-hop. My most recent accomplishement was receiving the Helen Hayes award for my performance as Diana Morales in A Chorus Line at the Tony Award winning, Signature Theatre.

New students require time and patience in getting to know who they are as a person and how they learn best. I find that most teachers don't take the time to speak their student's language in the sense that everyone has a different way of receiving and learning information. Everyone studies in their own unique way and it is my duty to find what works best for you.
