About Sammi
I have been teaching various subjects online for several years. With a teaching certification and a passion for cooking, I can help teach you how to make the dinner of a lifetime, how to plan and cook for the week, or just teach you basics.
Additionally, I specialize in allergy friendly foods and special diets (gluten free, paleo, vegan, raw food, juicing, etc.). Healthy, REAL food is my realm. I privately cook for many people and show them how easy it is to eat well without having to worry about their allergies.
While having a lot of fancy kitchen tools is wonderful, I believe you need very little to create an amazing meal. I would like to help you form a passion for cooking or improve your skills.
Utlimately, I enjoy helping people. I think cooking is an art, and sharing and teaching your art is a special thing to do.
I became a teacher after years of training for software companies.
I teach English online and I am also a trainer for a software company. I cook as a hobby, and also run my own food blog. I have traveled overseas to learn to cook amazing meals.
Additionally, I have several food allergies and have learned to cook with just about anything! I am gluten free, additive free, egg free, seafood and red meat free. Believe me, where there is a will there is a way! But I also cook for people with special diets like paleo, raw food, and vegan.

First, let's talk about the food you'd like to cook and if you have any food allergies. Food allergies may mean we have to alter the recipe.
Next, let’s figure out your kitchen comfort level and what tools you have to use. We will take everything step by step and we can stop for questions along the way.
Third, let's cook!
Lastly, let's talk about how your food came out. If you struggled along the way, we can talk about how to improve for the next time you'd like to try to cook the meal.
All ages, online and in person.
Try to make sure your personalities mesh so that learning is that much more fun.

Pricing varies depending on time required and food/tools purchases. Typically, classes are 50 USD plus the cost of food. Payment is expected prior to class. Payment can be accepted using Google Wallet (you can download the app on your phone - setting up an account is a piece of cake).
