About Deb

My Mentor hired me to start teaching an introduction to acting for students ages 8-10yrs. My career grew from there until becoming a Master Teacher and training future generations of teachers.

I have received intensive training in both multiple styles of dance and theatre. I began training in my youth and participated in exclusive training programs ie: bolshoi ballet summer intensive and Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts

About the lesson

We have an introduction session were we chat and evaluate the experience and knowledge level of the student. We also will begin with a simple exercise to begin developing our working relationship.

I have taught students of all ages. The youngest being three years old and my oldest 93. I enjoy working with students of all experience and skill levels.

It is important that you are comfortable with their teaching style and able to communicate clearly. Some teachers like to keep a very regimented strict environment and push hard while others may be more nurturing in style. It's important to find a teacher with a style you will work hard for.

One of my students was cast in a Netflix original series.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It's important for students know what their long and short term goals.

Also understand that work/rehearsal/practice will be required outside of the actual lessons to become proficient in a new skill.
