About Rita
The New Jersey Creative Dance Troupe is an affordable dance program which offers authentic pre-professional dance training in preparation for an actual professional dance career. The NJCDT is not just an afterschool dance program. It is a pre-professional dance program designed to develop the technique and artistry of its members. Our dancers also receive performance experience and are introduced to the process of auditioning so that they may build their confidence.
They learn the ethics, etiquette, and professionalism necessary to be successful in a professional dance company. When they are ready, we strongly encourage our dancers to audition for the dance opportunities of their choice, supplying them with audition information, support, and motivation. In essence, when our dancers leave The NJCDT, they are thoroughly prepared to enter the real world of professional dance.
We are professional dancers with over 20 years teaching experience.

No prior dance training experience is required as we offer full dance training from its very beginning.
Be certain the teachers are qualified! Far too many people open dance schools without much, if any, experience. This results in students learning poor technique that will hinder their progress. It may also result in unecessary injuries.
