About Christina

The reason I like teaching Zumba is because every class feels like a party. You don't have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead! It's easy! Come try it out! I guarantee you will have a blast!

I enjoy helping people. I will have a class starting Saturday, September 9, 2017. Every Saturday from 11am-12noon and every Wednesday from 7pm-8pm.

I got started teaching in college. My B.A. Degree is in Dance. I was captain of my dance team in college and I taught and choreographed many dance routines for our school's sporting events.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I always check to make sure they are in good health to be able to handle the process of the class. I also ask if they have any injuries I should be aware of to prevent any more further injuries. Afterwards, I asses what level they are at to determine the moves I use in the class. For example, if I start to teach a fitness or dance move and it's too difficult, I regress the movement to what they are capable of performing. And I will keep it at that level the entire class.

I work with kids age 8 all the way to the age 70.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Some questions should be about the location of classes. The time classes should be to fit everyone's schedule. Fitness goals the client would like to accomplish. Any injuries the client may have to prevent further injury. What level of dance fitness the client may be at.

Details

For 1-hour group classes, I charge $12 per person. You can purchase class packages on my website. 5 classes are $55 and 1 class for free. Private group classes of 10 I charge $100.
