About Thor

I have 10 years experience of teaching dance to all ages from toddlers to seniors. For the past 10 years I have been based in Iceland, Australia, England and Russia where I have been competing at the highest professional level as a dancer as well as a teacher and been renowned for my personal touch and professional approach. I starred in the Netfllix series Baby Ballroom as a professional dance teacher at Zig Zag dance studios in England as well as finishing first runner up in the reality dance show Dance,Dance,Dance in Iceland.

I have always enjoyed teaching and passing on my knowledge. I am a people person and love interacting with others and sharing the experience of dance

From a young age I've strived to be a professional dancer and dance teacher. I got my first oppurtunity teaching back in Iceland at the studio I took my first steps as a five year old at the age of 16 and I have never looked back since then.

I have been trained by the most respecteable coaches in the ballroom industry since I was a teenager and have a letter of reccomandation from some of the most respected, former world champions of Ballroom dancing.

About the lesson

Upon meeting the student my main priority is finding a program that is suitable for that individual, pair or a group. Everybody is uniqe in their own way and requires a personalized approached.

I have worked with children as young as 2 years old in toddler classes up to 90+ year old seniors. I've worked with people with disabilities as well as world class competition dancers. But mainly I've specialized in beginner classes for adults of all ages, either as a one off experience or helping them take the first steps towards becoming dance fanatics and beyond.
