About By the Sea Ballroom & Latin Dance
Hello my name is Clara Formoso. I am a Certified Ballroom & Latin Dance Instructor. I began my training with Arthur Murray Dance Studios. I have been teaching Ballroom & Latin Dancing for over 40 years. I was a performer, Pro/Am competitor. I teach all styles of social dance including Country Western. I especially like choreographing Wedding songs, father/daughter dance and such. By the Sea Ballroom as been in Myrtle Beach since 2011. I was the owner of Formoso Ballroom Dance Studio in New Jersey 30 years prior to moving to Myrtle Beach.
I enjoy teaching and meeting the goals of my students. Bringing a smile to the face of a young couple who waited till the last minute to learn their wedding song. I always give 100%

I love By The Sea Latin and ballroom dance studio. Clara is warm and wonderful and a great teacher. She make you feel right at home from the moment you walk thru the door.
All the teachers at by the Sea, Are very patient and make a very fun class. It’s like one family all together working to learn how to dance.We can dance we giggle with Nyal and we have a lot of fun what more can you ask for and you also learn how to dance and that will always be with us
