About Carina

New York's only dance studio dedicated exclusively to Argentine tango!

TriANGulO fosters a community that is welcoming to dancers of all levels and experience who are united by a desire to learn, dance, and be immersed in Argentine tango.

In 1997, in the heart of Manhattan, Carina realized her dream and opened her own dance studio devoted to Argentine tango: Triangulo. Carina is known for her engaging and precise teaching style, and her tango teaching method has been described as the “Zen of tango.” She creates a completely stress-free atmosphere, particularly appreciated by novice and seasoned dancers alike, and she is a supportive and patient instructor. In addition to her regular and continuous classes at Triangulo, she has taught at the Spanish Institute and the Argentine Consulate in Manhattan, at Yale University, at City College, at Fordham University, at the Trevor Day School, at Bond Street Theater, and more. She has given workshops in Germany at the Theater Monsun in Hamburg, in Karlsruhe. and in Italy.

Carina Moeller is an accomplished, classically trained dancer who studied modern dance, ballet, tap, and jazz at the Stage School of Dance and Drama, the G. Baudach Ballet Institute and the Ellys Dance School in Germany. She graduated with honors in modern dance from DANCEWORKS Berlin and earned her theater degree from the Michael Tschechow Studio Berlin. After dancing professionally and performing with modern and theater dance groups all over the world, in 1995 Carina moved to New York City and danced with the Doris Humphrey Repertory Company.

Dance lessons offered by Carina are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in New York. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
