About Candace
Dance with MS. Starr, a community leader and a big heart for children. Do you want to dance for fun...then you are in the right place. Classes are from ages 12mo to about 12yo and in many dance styles. Does this sound like a class for you?
Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, and Creative Movement
FUN FUN FUN and learn dance in a creative environment too...with Ms. Starr!
A bit about me:
web: candacestarr.com
A dancer from California made her way to Kansas City. I have a Bachelors Degree in Leadership/Dance and a Masters Degree in Advising.
I have written a short book, "Sparkle Learns Ballet" and have an online business building dance curriculum for dance teachers and studio owners all over the world.
In addition, I have students that went on to become: Rockette dancer, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, NBA Dancers, Dancer for Justin Bieber and Gwen Stefani, Studio Owners, and so much more.
FUN FACT: At the age of 16, I broke the Guinness Book of World Records for twirling a baton for 55 and 1/2 (don't forget the have because it was the longest 30 minutes of my life...lol) non stop. Yep!
Enough of me... find out more when you become part of my Dance Program!
I have certainly been in the biz for....forever and love everything about it. However, the piece that makes it most exciting...are the children. Just last week, the room was quiet, pretending to be asleep like Snow White, and a little voice out of no where says, "Ms Starr, I Love You." That's why I thoroughly enjoy teaching children the art of dance. Come Dance With Me!
