About Jessica

Beginning Dancehall will include steps and grooves straight from Jamaica as well become familiar with Dancehall music and the significance of both to the culture of Jamaica.

I love having the chance to share my passion for Jamaican Dancehall with new people.

I started Dancing when I was 6 and also did cheer. I started teaching Zumba Fitness and discovered Dancehall from a fellow instructor and fell in love from there I started teaching.

I have been learning and studying Dancehall for the past 6 years and have traveled to Jamaica twice to learn from dancers as well and learn and better understand the culture.

About the lesson

Class is 1 hr consisting of a warm up/ grooves introduction of moves, and end with a short piece of choreography based off movements reviewed throughout that class.
