About Ana
Hi, my name is Ana Martinez. I am a Physical Education Teacher who loves sports, dancing and staying active. While looking for fun ways to stay in shape, I found my fist Zumba fitness class seven years ago. It was love at first sight. Every class feels like a party! Since that day, Zumba fitness has become my passion, I can proudly say that I am a Zumbaholic.
Zumba fitness has changed my life. I am more focused in keeping myself fit and it has also served as an outlet from the daily stress of my other job. I have been certified since 2011 and most of my Zumba experience has been in school settings either to students in my PE classes or the parents of my students and community events. I love teaching Zumba fitness to help others reach their goals. I also love to be a student in other instructor’s classes because you can always learn something from their teaching styles.
I strive to have a balanced playlist with a wide variety of rhythms and I bring tons of energy and enthusiasm to my classes. Come try a class, I guarantee you will have a blast! I am looking forward to meeting you.
My background is Physical Education. I taught PE High school for 22 years. i have always loved sports and try to stay fit. I am a certified Zumba Instructor.
