Welcome to Boomtown Drumworld!!! I am Rick Garfield, a professional Drummer, and Drum Instructor for two decades in Las Vegas! BACKGROUND: I was originally trained - several years ago, by the Head of Percussion, at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan! Applying that technical drumming knowledge, I taught for several years as the Head Drum & misc. Percussion Instructor, for Marshall Music, in East Lansing, Michigan. I also did short tour's with band's, and did some drumming on recording's, as a Studio drummer. Several years later, I relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, with my wife & children, for the warmer weather! Also, to be closer - to other extended family members, & friends that made the move West too! TRAINING: I train student's to have a SOLID FOUNDATION as a Drumming Musician! To be able to Read, Count and PLAY, . . . MANY STYLES of music!!! I work with ALL AGES of Drum Students, and ALL LEVEL'S OF PLAYING ABILITY!!! . . .From absolute Beginners, . . . to Fellow Professional's, just needing a . . ."Tune-Up"!!! The student will be INCREASING their "musical Drumming Knowledge", AND "Playing Ability", at EVERY LESSON, . . . with GUARANTEED RESULTS"!!! The Lesson's are a GREAT VALUE & hard to beat!!! 1/2 hour lesson: $29.00, and 1 hour lesson: $39.00 (The lesson tuition's, are paid for monthly, based on the number of week's per month).
