About Dawn

Hi, I'm a bay area native that's played drums on and off for 20 years. I was trained in classical percussion and jazz drums. Studied music at San Francisco State University. I've also played in several rock bands, including my current band, Mad Fiction. I have an acoustic set and an electronic set at my studio witch makes teaching more effective. Since there aren't many female musicians out there, I love teaching other aspiring female musicians. Studio is in Fruitvale / Dimond area.

Drum lessons offered by Dawn are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Oakland. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
