About Jordan

Hi my name is Jordan, I’m a professional drummer, teacher and songwriter.
I teach any and all styles of drumming. No matter what style, the core of the lesson is learning how to tune into your body, to find relaxation while performing patterns that strengthen four-way coordination between all limbs. Drumming strengthens bilateral coordination and facilitates brain hemisphere coherence. These lessons are also for those who wish to learn how to develop space awareness through drumming.
Lessons will focus on coordination techniques, in order to become more aware of ourselves and our surrounding environment.
One of the great values of arts education is non-linear creative thinking. The Schools have cut arts education, a critical part in the development of a young person’s brain and the ongoing strengthening of the mind at any age. Music and esspecially drumming is one of the srongest tools for keeping the mind strong, increasing cognitive function and battling Alzheimers disease.
I live and breathe music, being able share and assist someone on their musical journey or introducing music into someones life in order to help them is one of my greatest joys.
People began to ask if I teach, so I started teaching. I teach out of my own space.
I have been playing proffesionally since the age of 14. I've studied at the California Institue of the Arts. I am a composer, songwriter and I create music for library companies.
