About ZARKA

Hello, my name is Zarka. I am a premedical student but love teaching. I graduated High School with a 4.0 GPA and am the winner of 2 spelling bee competitions from middle school. I want to invest my study habits in our future students I will come up with fun and approachable techniques to ensure every student is learning and understanding material.

I am a former child care counselor at Colonie Youth Center in Latham, NY. I helped K-12 students with homework and taught them different study techniques which helped them understand the specific topic or subject.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with a new student is to understand what the students needs are and where the student is struggling specifically. I will then create a study plan in which we will come up with a plan to help the student better understand.

I have worked with students K-12. I have done simple color and number teaching with kindergarten students all the way up to math and science prep with high school students.

I would advise any student to find a teacher who relates to them and understands their needs. Every teacher has a different teaching style and finding one that you find most comfortable with would be key.

I am fond of the cupcake fest in Beacon,NY. I absolutely love sweets and it is the most AMAZING experience.
