About Leigh anne
I love when I am helping a student learn a concept or idea they have previously struggled with and they understand. That "ah ha" moment is my favorite part of my job!
I am a trained elementary school teacher with experience teaching in first grade. I currently am in graduate school to get my M.Ed. in Literacy and am passionate about teaching young students who are emerging readers. I also love teaching students math strategies to make math problems more manageable and am skilled in facilitating problem solving in general.
I currently tutor in the Baton Rouge, LA area virtually or in person on a one-on-one basis. I'd love to discuss your learner's needs to create a plan to help your student be as successful as possible and overcome obstacles in their way!
